Why Privacy Matters in Dermatology

Dermatology is personal. When a patient from Gomti Nagar shares before/after photos of acne scarring, or a patient from Hazratganj discusses hair loss during a consultation — that information is deeply private. Unlike a general physician visit, dermatology consultations involve clinical photographs, treatment area documentation, and sometimes sensitive medical history (hormonal conditions, autoimmune disorders, steroid use history).

At Gomti Clinic, we treat every piece of patient data with the same level of care we apply to treatment protocols.

What Data We Collect

How We Protect Your Data

Consent & Clinical Photography

Before any clinical photograph is taken at Gomti Clinic:

  1. The patient is informed why the photo is needed (treatment tracking)
  2. Written or verbal consent is obtained
  3. Photos are used only for the patient's own treatment record unless explicit published consent is given
  4. If a patient requests photo deletion, we comply promptly

Before/after images on our portfolio page are shared only with patients' written permission.

Third-Party Sharing

Gomti Clinic does not sell, rent, or share patient data with any third party for marketing purposes. We may share medical information only:
